The purpose of this program is to train aspiring students as Travel & Tourism Specialists including knowledge in the following areas: Geography, Vacations, Cruising, Travel Theory, Travel Computers (Amadeus software), Home Based Agent, and Hotel Front Office Procedures; as well as knowledge in general areas including: Keyboarding, General Supervisory Skills, Microsoft Integrated, Word and Excel. This is accomplished through an effective balance of theory and hands on practical training involving lecture, current texts and personal attention. At the end of this course students are prepared to enter the workforce as an entry-level Travel & Tourism Specialist.
