Course Description:
Medical coding and billing are taught manually and enhanced with coding and billing software. The knowledge gained prepares the student to become a nationally certified coder. Students will receive working knowledge of medical coding & billing and reimbursement in addition to an introduction to the national diagnostic and procedural coding systems.
