CLINICALS, PCD100 – PHARM. CALCULATIONS / DOSAGES / ADMIXITURE / ASEPTIC, NDC100 – NUTRITION, DIGESTIVE
STSTEMS, CPR / FIRST AID / HIV, MAP100 – FUNDAMENTALS OF ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY, MTP100 – MEDICAL
TERMINOLOGY FOR PHARMACY, MLE100 – MEDICAL LAW & ETHICS, JSW100 – JOB SEARCH WORKSHOP)
All students in the Pharmacy Technician Program must complete a 160-hour externship, which includes working for a pharmacy facility, primarily in a community practice setting. During their 160 hours they will perform calculations, dosing, pouring and counting pharmaceuticals, prescription filling and labeling, prescription pricing, prescription software
utilization, insurance billing, quality control, and pharmaceutical inventory control. All students will be marked on their externship.
